The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in India, covering the four revered shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand.

🗓️ Itinerary (12 Days / 11 Nights)

Day 1: Haridwar/Rishikesh → Barkot
  • Drive: Approx. 7–8 hours (180 km)

  • En route visit Kempty Falls (Mussoorie)

  • Overnight stay in Barkot

Day 2: Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot
  • Drive to Janki Chatti (36 km)

  • Trek to Yamunotri Temple (6 km)

  • Return to Barkot for an overnight stay

Day 3: Barkot → Uttarkashi
  • Drive: Approx. 4–5 hours (100 km)

  • Visit Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi

  • Overnight stay in Uttarkashi

Day 4: Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi
  • Drive: Approx. 3–4 hours (100 km one way)

  • Visit Gangotri Temple and Bhagirathi River

  • Return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay

Day 5: Uttarkashi → Guptkashi
  • Drive: Approx. 8–9 hours (220 km)

  • En route visit Tehri Dam and Rudraprayag

Day 6: Guptkashi → Kedarnath

  • Trek to Kedarnath Temple (16 km) or take a helicopter/pony/palki

Day 10: Rudraprayag → Rishikesh/Haridwar
